In the city where I live “buñuelos” are a big thing during the winter. Buñuelos are this kind of fine pastry that is made by frying the dough in big pots. Since the ladies that make them need a lot of space to cook and it is easier to be sitted close to them because they bathe such pastries in honey that spills everywhere, the satalls where you have these are basically benches facing the buñuelo maker placed around the big pot where buñuelos get fried.
Walking through a park during the night I saw the people sitting around the ladies making buñuelos dinning and laughing. This particular lady had very few sitting space and it was all occupied by other ladies, loud and jolly laughter rised from that spot where five ladies enjoyed their evening amongst strangers.
