The Blob is a Non-game made in collaboration with Woraya Boonyapanachooti
Using the principle of the Squishy button I developed for Tangible Interactions I created a newversion which was paired with a Unity scene she developed, this scene featured an alternate universe where 3D scanned versions of us looped in different movements, and were affected by the squishing of the button which changed the gravity on the floor our avatars were standing on. The interaction was multisensorial as it involved:
Touch > Squishy button
Sight > The 3D alternate universe
Sound > Through MaxMSP we added a frequency that increased in pitch as more pressure was inflicted on the button
To let the users navigate the universe we added a wacom pad as a control to move around.
