Leidi is a plush interactive character that is meant to provide ease of mind through hugs.
The idea was born from the knowledge that hugs trigger oxytocin production in the brain, a chemical that provides a sensation of calm and joy to the person experiencing the chemical rush.
With flexor sensors and an LCD screen within, this gigant plush creature "speaks" good fake news with every hug that it recieves. The intention of this creature was to provide a positive companion figure that was interactive and that provided a joyful experience.
Its further development will involve a sms shield that will allow for encouragement, positive and funny messages to be sent into its memory. The hug system will stay in place as it is the main part of the creation.
